Almost Heaven Raw Honey Branding & Web Design
Challenge
Before working together, Almost Heaven Raw Honey only had a simple Facebook page.
While it kept them connected to local customers, they faced three key problems:
Limited Reach: They wanted to sell online year-round—not just at markets.
Lack of Brand Cohesion: No logo, color palette, or professional photography tied their growing product line together.
Untapped Educational Potential: Their on-site workshops and pollinator meadow were unique selling points that weren’t being showcased anywhere online.
Results
We created a cohesive brand and easy-to-manage Squarespace website that brought Almost Heaven Raw Honey’s values and products to life online.
The new design combined natural, earthy branding with e-commerce functionality, educational workshop listings, and SEO-optimized storytelling—transforming their local farmers’ market presence into a polished, professional digital storefront.
The Goal: Create an online home that captured their authenticity, educated their audience, and made it easy for customers to shop.
Brand Design
I developed a natural yet polished brand identity rooted in earthy tones, warm golds, and soft neutrals that reflect raw honey, beeswax, and native wildflowers.
Logo: A couple of logo variations have a modern feel with geometric, minimal honeycombs and bee outline, while the typography in the logo is in a handwritten style with a freehand underline to invoke the raw, homemade aspect of local raw honey.
Colors: The colors I selected (Warm Cream, Light Golden Honey, Deep Golden Honey, Deep Forest Green, Warm Brown) include warm, natural, and earthy tones to work well with photography and graphics related to beekeeping, honey, and native wildflowers. The greens and golds contrast nicely while the specific tones are modern yet timeless.
Typography: A blend of serif elegance and modern sans-serif clarity for a handcrafted yet professional feel.
Modern Website
Built on Squarespace for ease of management, the website blends storytelling with simple e-commerce.
Home Page: Introduces the family’s story, sustainable practices, and meadow imagery to build emotional connection.
Shop: Streamlined product listings for honey, honeycomb, and beeswax goods with integrated stock management.
Workshops Page: Calendar-based workshop listings with easy sign-up via embedded forms.
CTAs: Clear, focused Call-to-Actions and links direct users to either shop or sign up for a workshop - creating a strategic user experience without the overwhelm of a bunch of options on one page.
Blog: Educational content about pollinators, honey harvesting, and native plants to boost SEO and authority.
Email Capture: Strategic placement of a “20% Off First Order” sign-up form to nurture an email list.
The online product sales and event sign-ups for workshops enable new and returning customers to maintain their relationship with the business, even if they cannot attend the local farm market.
Mobile Responsive
Because many clients engaged the business at farm markets and on facebook, mobile responsiveness was critical to jump from facebook directly to their website to shop and sign up for events. The site adapts seamlessly across devices, ensuring prospective clients can browse products, explore workshop events, and stay up to date with news from their local farmer with ease — whether they’re on a phone, tablet, or desktop.
This mobile-first approach ensures Almost Heaven Raw Honey reaches busy families and local customers exactly when and where they are — improving accessibility to Almost Heaven Raw Honey products.
Results
Engages Clients Online, Not Just at Farm Markets: A seamless shopping experience that drives online revenue.
Attractive, Modern Branding: A professional, cohesive brand that stands out in a saturated market.
Builds Community Locally: A functional, educational website that builds community trust and supports in-person workshop sales, creating loyal returning customers.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful branding and modern web design can help local producers grow beyond the farmers’ market—building digital ecosystems that educate, sell, and inspire.
