Portfolio

Thoughtful websites built for real businesses and real life

Every project here was designed with the same intention: clarity over cleverness, usefulness over trends, and sustainability over speed.

Some of these projects were created as portfolio concepts to explore structure, messaging, and design decisions for specific types of small businesses.

All of them reflect how I think about websites—and how I work.

How to Read this Portfolio

These sites aren’t meant to impress with novelty. They’re meant to feel calm, familiar, and easy to use. As you click through, notice:

  • How quickly you understand what the business offers

  • How little effort it takes to navigate

  • How the design supports the content instead of competing with it

  • How each site would realistically function day to day

What You Won’t See

You won’t see:

  • Trend-heavy design that ages quickly

  • Overbuilt functionality most small businesses don’t need

  • Flashy layouts that sacrifice clarity

  • One-size-fits-all templates passed off as “custom.”

What you will see are websites designed to be lived with.

About Concept Projects

You’ll see a mix of client work and portfolio concepts here.

Concept projects are:

  • Designed for real, plausible businesses

  • Built using the same process and constraints as client work

  • Focused on structure, clarity, and user experience—not imaginary features

They allow me to explore specific industries and design challenges thoughtfully—before ever taking on a client in that space.

If you’re curious about my process or how a similar project would translate to your business, I’m always happy to talk it through.

If you’re wondering “Would this work for me?”

The best way to tell isn’t whether a site looks like your business—
it’s whether it feels like relief.

If these projects feel clear, grounded, and easy to imagine maintaining, we’re likely a good fit.
